I bet if you look back over the last few years they also seem to
be at their worst the two weeks prior to the All Star Game.
Seems like every year that suck the worst about this time.

Lost to the sox today. Like I said, these guys are hard to
watch. They need the break. Hope you're right Bill. Epstein
talking changes if the they don't show some life. If these guys
were playing they'd be up 10. I'll for sure take a surge after
the break though..

No lead off hitter for 3 years now. Schwarber should be in the
American League DHing. Schawarber is a strong liability in the
field.
As you can see the Cubs have no pitchers or outfielders in the
Allstar game. That says a lot.
Obviously Yu Darvish has become a major fiasco as he can not
pitch - clueless on how to get hitters out consistently. Great
stuff, but trowing pitches down the middle to guys like the
Pirates Bell is moronic.

Cards have really good players. A lot of them underachieve.
Look at the Cards pitching - #1 draft pick after #1 draft pick.
Great pitchers.

A race between the Cubs and the Bears to see who can suck the
most. Hammels was terrible last night. Then on top of that the
cubs bats can't score off a crappy brewers pitching staff. Two
games last weekend they went scoreless. Pathetic!

Cubs woes are directly pointed a Maddon with his major blunders.
Lets lead Almora off with his .270 on base %. Lots pull Darvish
early and keep Lester in 2 innings too long and give 8 earned
runs.

Cubs are just about done.. Hanging on by a thread for a wild
card. Sad part is, they should've, could've, been up in that
division by 8 or 10. Pathetic!
