Hey Duck fuck you I've got 5 WR's. You were caught napping in
rules changes. :o
Nobody would have noticed it if JJ didn't bring it up.

You still have to have all those players. The flex position is
an Extra RB - TE - WR. If you have one of these positions hurt
you can replace them with one of the other.
Gronk is hurt so my flex is a WR now. Gronk is on IR. When
Gronk gets cleared I will have to release a WR. I can not keep
a WR and activate him or it will be an illegal roster.
Likewise I could have replaced him with a RB or another TE.
JJ is right. You have to look to make sure someone isn't being
stashed on IR when they should not be in order to carry more at
one position then allowed.

You still have the wrong amount of each position.
I always keep the correct amount. Sure I can play 2 TE's or an
xtra RB or an xtra WR in the flex position.
We have always had to have the correct amount at each position.
Having extra is a huge advantage. I am fine with the rule
change since this is how the site works but it should have been
announced.

have had from day one.

We will have to discuss the flex position in the offseason
again. That is the cause of it. The flex position allows for
one extra WR-RB-TE if you have one of those on the IR.
We can go back to eliminating the flex position or make it a
permanent roster spot and not just and extra starter.

I'm not sure it matters as long as we all understand the rule.
It more closely resembles a real roster that way. Some teams
might prefer an extra WR vs a RB vs a TE.
