Can a commish make my roster legal? I'm so confused with this
freaing thing - I can't work out how to drop a dude without
adding somebody.... I picked up a RB thinking I could drop
McCluster as he was on the bench - but I can't..... my brain
hurts

Not true...
He claimed a RB this morning, but dropped a WR...that's what
made him illegal. During the early games today, he moved Duke
Johnson to IR and the new RB into his lineup...

Boris, The problem with your roster is you have to many RB's.
You can only have 3 active RB's and you have 4 when you picked
up Draughns and dropped the WR. You cannot drop McCluster since
he played the Thursday game and you made the move after that. I
moved Duke Johnson from IR and put him on the active roster
since you can only have 2 players on IR and he played this week.
I will let Bill rule on this but it appears that Draughns
should be put back into the pool since that was an illegal
transaction dropping a WR instead of a RB.

Check out my lineup. Totally legal with 5 WR's.
2 starters 1 flex 2 benched. Flex doesn't know what's there.
Proof positive.

Yes. You can have 5 if one is in the flex position. I too have
5 on my team right now. The same set up as you JJ.
The difference between us is your Flex WR is replacing your Flex
RB who is on IR. Mine is replacing my Flex TE who is on IR.
Therefore the teams are legal lineups.

So we don't have to stick to a 3rb, 2te, 4wr rule. If the site
deems the lineup legal we are ok ? I mean as long as we don't
stash someone healthy on IR?
