Man gasoline sure in the fuck isn't UNDER $3.25 in California !
What the fuck are we getting stepped on for and how long is
this going to last ?
There's NO answers out there.
It's like lets ream this state and give no reason ... because
we can.
If you add in every tax from California ... it's still $.70
cents lower in Nevada with those taxes from Nevada who gets
their gasoline from California.
Now explain that LOGIC to me. Dave, you're up at first bat ...
explain this.
Justify it in your post.

You are still paying for the regulations. It costs more to make
gas just for your state and for it to be under such strict
standards. Until that changes you will pay more for gas then
the rest of the country.
Your only solution is to move or elect more conservative
politicians (good luck with that).

More regulations cause the price of the product to go up because
it increases the price of doing business. When the regulations
are only that strict in one state then there is generally a
smaller supply and a higher demand which causes the price to
rise.

Can you get me an example from that class of conservative myth
making 101?
Can you explain why countries who can choose buy our "heavy
regulated" gas over unregulated Mexican gas?

No because I am not sure wtf you are asking me.
I was responding to JJ who lives in Cali and is pissed about the
gas prices. I answered his question.
I can only guess you feel Mexican gas is inferior due to no or
poor regulation. That may be the case and I never said we
should have no regulations. My point was the very strict
regulations in California compared to the rest of our country is
the reason gas prices are higher there.
I feel like we have had this conversation on these boards over
and over yet some people can never comprehend where the problem
lies.
