They were talking on the radio today how none of the ball clubs
are developing their backup QB's. They were talking how the NFL
as a whole needs to do a better job...

are developing their backup QB's. They were talking how the NFL
as a whole needs to do a better job...
they get most of their action in the preseason - you can only
develop in real games (not the same as practice games)

Clauson is about to develop in real games.

I thought the D at the end of the third and the fourth quarter
was just phoning it in. I remember one play where Jarred "I got
the interception" Allen was pushed outside like normal, and
Palmer just went by him, or was it the RB, and with a tiny bit
of energy Allen could have stopped him, but rather he just
jogged down the field after a big gain. Real nice douche bag.

I remember back in the day, when a game got out of hand the
backup finished, they got game time playing.. Clausen was ill
prepared...

Claussen with a week of practice will be respectable. Recall
last year when Cutler was benched that he played...respectably.
You really can't go off last week's performance when he was just
thrown into a game where he was behind a couple TDs.
Getting Jeffrey back would help.
