Amari Cooper was the WR, and I wanted him first. Also wanted DT
Danny Shelton. It will be interesting to see how these kids pan
out in a few years.

Ya know hindsight is always better than foresight. Had the Bears
only known what they would get out of White this year and
Goldman's conditioning issues in advance they might have drafted
differently. If they only knew what they'd get out of MuckPee
they might have gone after Beasley or someone else. The draft is
such a crapshoot. And lets just say that by next year Goldman is
in shape and White's injuries are healed and he produces like we
had hoped when he was drafted we all might be singing a
different tune other than doom and gloom. After 10 years of bad
drafts I just think we need to take our lumps and move on.

The Bears looked mediocre against a team twice as good as they
are. What a surprise.
Did anyone predict even as many as 8 wins this season? Why all
the weeping and wailing?

What a pity party!
Jacksonville had the #3 pick and took Dante Fowler the first
defensive player in the draft and guess what - he tore his ACL
in training camp? Maybe they should have taken Beasley too!
White had no injury history that I was a ware of.
I have not heard anything about Goldman's conditioning issues.
I do know that he led the nation in number of plays among all
NTs when he was at Florida St. I haven't seen a lot of him so
I can't form an opinion yet - but he did get 2 tackles Sunday.
Jarvis Jenkins, Ego Ferguson, Will Sutton combined for ONE
tackle.
We'll see more of Goldman as the season progresses - we just
didn't get a lot of 3-4 alignments Sunday.

Yeah, he lit 'em up pretty good. Obviously THE topic on sports
radio around here. Vandy is in the dumpster, TN lost at home in
2OT (some people just won't get over that), lemme tell ya, its
starting to
be tough to see a number 8 jersey for sale anywhere around. The
Bear had a hot qb # 8 once didn't they ? Never mind. I hope he
does very well. Cleveland next for the Oilers. Er...Titans.
Rumor has it the
franchise is for sale if you can pony up the bucks.
