According to him there is a secret space program that has been
on going since then. He wrote a book about it. Claims we have
a base on the moon and Mars.
He has worked for North American Aviation, Northrop, and the
       Douglas Aircraft Company.
The link below while about his models gives some good
       information on him.

I was just wondering if you had heard of him and if so what your
thoughts were about a secret space program. If he was involved
in a secret space program or not the guy has certainly lived an
interesting life. I heard a recent interview with him and he is
       still pretty sharp at 93.

       Duck,
I worked at Douglas Aircraft also.
I didn't write books on secret bases on the Moon and Mars.
Maybe I should have. Didn't know there was a dollar sign in it.

I remembered that you worked in that industry which is why I
brought it up. Plus you are always going on about free energy
and such which he claims the secret space program has.

There is no free energy ... there is only more efficient
       energy.
Which could become cheaper energy once it's geared up to make
       it.
Why Union Pacific ... BNSF ... CTX ... Norfolk Southern are not
putting solar panels on boxcars to supply electricity to their
traction motors which makes the diesel-electric traction motors
       move is still a mystery.
Once they are installed you would never have to refuel them.
You would then only need the diesel in diesel-electric in an
       emergency.
That's alotta wasted juice on the roof that's already there.

If it would save them money I am sure they would do it. My
guess is the cost of the solar panels along with how often they
would need to be replaced makes it cost prohibitive right now.

Forgot to mention that every 18 wheeler hauling a box trailer
is ripe for a solar panel also.
You may have seen while waiting at a railroad crossing how many
       18 wheeler
trailers are being hauled long haul by trains.
Before they are delivered to the truck destination point to
       haul on the road.
Those sources of electricity can be plugged in to the train
       while being hauled by trains.
I watched Electrical Engineers design an Integrated Circuit
       prototype chip
measuring 1/4 inch x 1/4 inch X 1/8 inch tall that set the
       company back
       $360000 .00. to develop.
Once they ran it through the paces and determined it would work
       ...
       it went into mass production.
The final cost to buy the chip if you wanted one ... $15.50.
       ;D
The Research & Development of the product up front is the cost
       you have to
recoup to make the damn thing practicable in the first place in
       order to make
       longstanding future profits.
AND TRUST ME , those Integrated Circuit Chips are obsolete in
       as little as 18 months,
before they have been copied by Chinese and other enterprises.
This is where international patents and copyrights are
       virtually ignored. >:(
We do the labor ... they copy it ... mass produce it and
       undercut us.
