       Rotation next up is Haren.  Think they'll keep him on schedule,
       and give everybody else an extra day of rest?  Or, keep
       everybody on regular rest and skip Haren?

       I think Maddon pitches Haren. He's a big believer in keeping
       guys fresh.

       One benefit of automating the strike zone in professional
       baseball would be to minimize the adjustment needed when players
       advance from the minors to the majors:

       Thanks for the link, PlayTwo.  Very interesting article on the
       challenge Bryant faces in trying to adjust to low strikes.

       If the Cubs are going to keep Schwarber in left for a while I
       wouldn't mind seeing Contreras called up to catch some pretty
       soon.
