That one game playoff game could be stressful.

Perhaps we should begin figuring the odds on the survival rate
of some of our posters in a one game playoff scenario. jbn 7%
       StrikeZone 9% Chris27 19% br 22% Ron 48% craig 61% JR 79%
PlayTwo 88% jesbeard 99%, mainly cuz we got no luck at all.

You are too high for jbn, and way to high for Chris and br. Too
low for me (since I see this as a transitional year and will be
happy if the Cubs get to the playoffs and thrilled if they
progress). What about DaveP, CBJ and Reb?

I'm surprised. With Cubs, Giants, Nationals all in the pool for
one spot, I'd not have guessed our odds were so favorable.
Really speaks to what a disappointing season the Nationals have
       had. Some stats:
       *Jayson Werth: .519 OPS
       *Ryan Zimmerman: .657 OPS
       *Strassburg: 4.76 ERA. (FIP is 3.35) 75K/18BB/68IP, who'd
       have guessed? 8 HR's doesn't help...
       *Fister: 4.60 ERA, 12HR/86 IP. HR's don't help.

I couldn't do everyone. Besides, Davep survived the last time
the Cubs won the Series, so...

This is silly. Who thinks they can't win a 1-game playoff? It's
       a crapshoot.

People survived 2003, I think a wild card game won't off anyone.
Now, get within 6 outs of the WS again...
Edit: I didn't even realize the Bartman game was on my birthday.
