At one time Cubs vs. White Sox was an exhibition called "The
Boys Benefit Game". Then when inter-league play was adopted it
became the "Crosstown Classic", and finally they found a sponsor
to re-name it the "BP Cup". They should now call it the
"Crosstown Battle for Draft Position" as that was the case for
the last two years and it might be true for this year too. The
'winner' ends up the ultimate 'loser'.

In a perfect Theo/Jed world, a few days after Bryant wouldn't
qualify for Super-Two status. So that's mid-June?
Realistically, it depends on a few things. How the starting
LFers & 3Bmen already on the 25-man roster are performing.
Bryant's stats playing for Iowa. The Cubs W-L record and if
it's bad is there any negative affect on actual attendance (not
tickets sold but actual asses in the seats) at Wrigley.
A struggling 3Bman +/or LFer, a losing Cubs team and a hot
Bryant in Triple-A will hasten the promotion to a few days
before or after May 1st.
