Bases loaded with nobody out and only manage one run against a
pitcher who is obviously struggling.

Castillo hacking at the first pitch and breaks his bat. So
after the Cubs loaded the bases, we got:
- Olt hacking away, resulting in a weak grounder.
- Szczur taking pitches from a wild pitcher, eventually getting
a pitch he could drive to the warning track in front of the 390
sign.
- Castillo hacking at the first pitch, resulting in a weak,
broken bat pop out.
Who would've thunk using patience against a guy who isn't
throwing strikes today would be a good approach?

I can't see any screen where that is possible.

I have MLB.TV Premium, but I sign in using their older
technology because the Premium version isn't actually live--it's
usually about 2-3 pitches behind. So I'm not able to skip
forward or back either. I have been able to do that before when
I used premium, though.
You may have to install their NexDef plug-in (if you haven't
done that yet) to get the DVR functionality.
