date=1425869296]For those that want to trade Baez, what do you
think his trade value is? My thinking is it is some where
around Mike Olt at this point when the Cubs traded for him. I'd
much rather let him bust with the Cubs. The nice thing is the
Cubs don't need him to reach his ceiling to be a good team.

Agree. Trading now won't get you much to make it worthwhile.
May as well keep him for at least a while, for better or for
worse.

Everything is possible, but I think that Russell coming up
before September is an extreme long shot.

Jackson gives up the 3-run bomb in the 2nd. And then hits
after. He won't be in the running for the fifth starting job at
this rate (and probably not ever).

I can't imagine Jackson starting the season with the Cubs. This
is the first week of spring training, and he was getting mock
cheers from the Cubs fans already. If they can't dump him in a
trade, he'll be cut towards the end of Spring Training.

I didn't realize CurtOne made it down to Mesa for spring
training this year.

Definitely no point in trading Baez now. Hopefully he can show
some progress in AAA and be a major trade chip this summer.

Aren't pitchers supposed to be ahead of the hitters this early
on?
