Pretty obvious that Bryant needs to work on his baserunning at
Iowa.

Not sure which were passed balls versus wild pitches, but
Schwarber let a couple of balls get through today.

Good thing spring training doesn't really matter.

He wasn't great last spring, either. He walked eight guys in
sixteen innings and had a WHIP of 1.62 even though his ERA was
just over three.
Once the season started, he was really good with the Cubs.
Sinker ball pitchers like Hammel don't usually do well in the
Cactus League, if memory serves. That's what the conventional
wisdom is, anyway.

Both ruled wild pitches.

If a pitch hits the ground first, it is almost always called a
wild pitch. But a great many catchers would probably have
caught, or at least blocked, both of the pitches, one of which
seemed to go right between his legs.

Wada starts, gets pulled mid-inning after three batters. Not
good.
Szczur hit a long HR, he's having an excellent camp so far.

Seems like Szczur is doing a good job of making a case to be the
fifth outfielder/defensive replacement in center.
