I don't think I realized Marshall was doing this (showtime) last
season. We bitched about Briggs doing something similar one
weekend. Sounds like Marshall had a distraction all of last
       season..

       Blah blah blah...
       Slow new week...
       blah blah blah...
Who the Fuck cares what he does on a Tuesday on his own time?
If it interferes with his job as a WR for the bears from 6 am to
4 pm on Tuesdays then they have something to be concerned about.
If that is his time then he can do what the fuck he wants with
it. Isn't Tuesday the normal off day during the regular season?
On inside the NFL they talk football and review games. If
anything I think it would keep him more abreast of what is going
on around the NFL as opposed to just what is going on around
Halas Hall and the team that is up next.

Not to mention how much community service - charity functions
       these guys are constantly supporting...
Any writer want to claim lack of dedication to the team for
       something like that?

Not sure I would have broadcast to the world we were switching
to the 3-4 until I had a big DT in the fold. I would keep
everyone guessing while talking up the QBs.

Wait till March 12th (?) date and Knighton can negotiate. I look
for Pace/Fox to go after him

I would like for them to go after McCourtry the S for the
Patriots. But that is probably a pipe dream.

I would like for them to not overpay for busted up FA veterans
       :-)
I really thought Jared Allen was going to give us the kickstart
kind of like Peppers did a few years ago.

And were you pleased with Jared Allen's production?

Jared Allen was too old and at the end of his road. Plus the
big thing about him was he couldn't play the run. He was
supposed to be able to get sacks, and didn't even do that. Hard
to say if it was his cold or what, but he didn't do squat.

I really wasn't pleased with anyone's production on defense
       except Willie Young.
When you break as many defensive records as we did this year not
       many did well.
