I only watched the first quarter and taped the rest. What I
learned was that the D looked like keystone cops out there.
Running around, not covering receivers, unorganized, and giving
up 3rd down, especially with stupid penalties. The Dline was
getting some pressure, but not enough. Maybe Allen playing will
change that, I don't know. All I could see was Aaron Rodgers
carving up the Bears.
Marshall and Jeffery had drops, maybe the Seahawks got into
their heads. But Jay was forcing some passes as well.

Yep, the little bit of the first half that I watched the D
looked completely lost. I'll try to watch the whole thing today
or tonight. It is preseason, so I won't take too much out of it,
but it will be hard not to bitch like hell, especially about the
D..

34-6,sheesh! Can't see a great deal of positives coming out of
last night...I guess I'll go with it's only pre-season and look
forward to the regular season :-\

If the Bears make the playoffs this year they wont get by
Seattle. They are in a class by themselves.

I was ranting at the TV last night but in retrospect it really
wasn't as bad as the score would indicate. Pete Carroll is an
ass. Up 34-0 late in the 4th and he throws the challenge flag? I
just think Trestman goes about his preseason work while the Pete
Carroll ego keeps his starters in against the Bears #2's.

I figured before this game that Trestman was not going to show
Carroll anything. He feels these two teams have a good chance
of playing each other again when it really matters.
The Seahawks were running delayed blitzes and all kinds of shit
on defense. The Bears O-line handled it pretty well.
Still would have liked to see them play better then they did. I
am more concerned about injuries then anything.

So am I for that matter. For key personnel its important. For
rubbish not so much.

Our starting safety and fullback left the game with injuries so
that is a concern.

The Mundy injury could be big. He is our best safety based on
his preseason play. He and Conte (yeah I know he sucked last
year; totally agree) as a tandem is the best we can do. We NEED
Mundy. I hope he is heathy.
I think R. Wilson is playing extremely well. He made plays
against our D. But and its a big but…no J. Allen. He would
have made a difference last night I am sure.
