I remember once in San Diego the Chargers got to the Bears one
yard line.
At the snap Harris actually knocked the ball out of the hands of
the center as he was snapping the ball up to Phillip Rivers.
All of the Chargers were sure Harris had to be offside but the
replay showed he wasn't.

Speaking of the Cowboys, they have a new DT they signed off the
street.
He practiced only once with the team, finished the game with
four tackles, two sacks, two tackles for loss, a quarterback
hurry and a forced fumble.
Zach Minter. (They call him Flounder after the character in
Animal House).

Did Zach Minter have a stint with the Bears? I don't recall
him. I recall Barry Minter but not a Zach.

He's another ex-Bear on the Cowboys.
Undrafted rookie FA out of Montana or Wyoming last year. Played
in a couple games with the Bears. Bengals picked him up and
dropped him.
Cowboys are so desperate for d-line help that after this guy's
performance against backups the other night he's being heralded
as the next Bob Lilly.

Speaking of Cornelius Washington, his chances don't look good.
I don't understand because he was throughly beating the Jags
left tackles last week when they let him ply some of the 4th
quarter.
Why not see what he can do with some first half playing time?
It's not like theres anything to lose

I agree ... its time to SEATTLE weed thru whats left on this
team.
So those bitches are going to be top heavy at home in the third
game ...
what they dont understand ... is CHICAGO BEARS coming to
Seattle !

Steelers got their asses handed to them tonight by the Eagles.
I expect the Seahawks to do the same to the Bears. Trestman
thinks he has a playoff team and I don't think he will want to
show his hand to them in pre-season. They have already started
down playing expectations for this game.
