Crawford has been outstanding. The defense has been spotty.
The offense has lacked cohesion and good passing.
But its 1-1 with sudden death.
Canucks playing with some intensity. I hope they've blown their
wad so to speak.

And you know, back in the 1st or 2nd, I think the Blackhawks had
a goal not counted. When Luongo was on his back the ref blew
the whistle, but I think a hawk had poked the puck in the net
before the whistle blew. I've looked at it several times and I
think they should have counted it.

Vancouver has gone to a trap since they got the lead early on.
They want to stand up at the blueline and prevent the Blackhawks
from getting room. The Hawks don't really have the forecheck to
counter that, but with the game tied, the Canucks might be
looser in their zone.

Surprised that Toronto didn't call with a video review of that
play. They were sure quick to take a look of the play that led
to the penalty shot weren't they.

That collective groan was the rest of the Western Conference,
who were rooting like crazy for the Hawks. Vancouver is
unbelievably skilled and strong. Look out for them now that the
monkey's off their backs.

No question the jump in drama and quality from regular season to
playoffs is greater in hockey than any other sport. Nothing
like playoff hockey.

The Canucks are a bunch of thuggish clowns, talented or not. And
had the refs allowed the Hawks to get away with the things the
Canucks did late, we'd probably have a war.

The Canucks were clearly the better team. Anything else is sour
grapes. Thank Crawford for making it a series, don't blame the
refs.
