I don't buy that at all. It was only a near clothes line
because of the contact of Rose running into Foster. His arm
comes down after the contact. Watch it again. That was not a
flagrant foul in my book. I mean seriously, what was Rose
thinking? That Foster and Hansborough were supposed to just
part the red sea for him?

Watch at the 40 second mark of the video you posted. Foster
swings his forearm at Rose. It isn't hanging there for Rose to
run into. He propels it into Rose's face.
Foster made zero attempt at the ball or even grabbing Rose.

Rose has specifically talked about tough fouls being part of the
game, but that was not a legit foul.

Foster wasn't even called for a foul on Deng. How can they
"upgrade" a foul that wasn't called?
And it's BS that because the piss poor refs can't take their
heads out of their asses and see flailing elbows of doom that he
doesn't get a suspension.

This is the problem. I don't have a problem with hard fouls, but
the kind of stuff Foster pulled leads to unnecessary injury. He
should be penalized but won't, cause the Pacers are going to
lose. Just cause they lose doesn't make his actions any more
tolerable, but that's the message the league rules send.

Is Foster known as a dirty player or just in this series of the
playoffs?
Whatever the case is, he should be suspended for today's game.

He's known as an occasionally chippy player. Not a hard-core
thug, but a guy with limited talents occasionally used as an
enforcer.
