I don't even really follow the Bulls but decided to watch the
second half since nothing else was on. It just looked to me
Indiana was playing some really tough defense. Seemed like they
were banging bodies with the Bulls on every shot, and I don't
think the Bulls had a clean look the whole time I was watching.
Winning on the road in the playoffs isn't easy, and the Pacers
are good at home. Might want to give your guys a break.

know it's the playoffs but the Pacers have gotten away with at
least three obvious flagrant fouls if not more including two
last night that were blatant. I want the Bulls to put them away
before someone gets hurt. And if I were on that team Jeff
Foster would be limping off the court the next time he gets
close to the basket. He isn't trying to foul hard, he is trying
       to hurt somebody.

I expected Kurt Thomas to play the role of enforcer. It's
probably just as well that they kept their cool though.

keeping their cool helped them win last night, imo. pacers got
in foul trouble pretty early in the 4th, allowing the bulls to
get to the line a ton.
im all for a response to the elbow on deng, but let them play
dirty and send rose to the line all night. those are easy points
late and really put the pressure on the opposition.

Blackhawks whomped the Canucks 5-0 and come home the UC for a
game 6. Canucks whiffed on an early power-play and the
Blackhawks early and often. Luongo gets pulled. game
       over...sweet victory

Nope, you have to take at least one very hard foul tomorrow - if
not for Indiana, to show your next two opponents (probably the
Florida teams) that you aren't willing to be intimidated by a
       .500 team playing like thugs.
I don't think anyone is giving Indy any credit for how close
this series is. They're playing tough, and you're seeing the
difference between a coach telling his team they should win and
a coach (Collins) who can't say often enough how much better his
opponent is than his own team.

I'm sorry, but this is playoff basketball. If your going to
constantly drive hard to the basket expect to get fouled then.
If your going to cry about "flagrant" fouls, stop driving so
hard. That Foster foul wasn't flagrant and he wasn't trying to
hurt him. He was trying to stop him from getting an easy
basket. He didn't grab him or chop down hard on him - he bodied
him trying to slide over to block him. I watch that and I see
Rose creating the contact. He's jumping into Foster. Watch it
       again.

I had no problem with that foul. I did have a problem with his
elbow to the head of Deng though. If that wasn't flagrant I
       don't know what is.

I had a problem with both, and so did Indy's own broadcast team.
The foul on Rose was a cheap, dirty, intentionally flagrant
       foul.

Why do you think it was cheap, dirty, and intentional. Sure it
was an intentional foul in respect he wasn't going to let him
through for an easy layup, but it wasn't cheap or dirty. Most
of the contact was Rose's fault because in trying to get around
Tyler he jumped into Foster. As I watch it again and again, it
looks like Rose is plowing into Foster. Did you really watch
again? Or just going on first impressions? And just because
the Pacers broadcast team says so, doesn't make it so.

The NBA has ruled both of Foster's fouls flagrant. He's spared
an automatic suspension since they were deemed so after the
       fact.

       grrrrrrlacher,
The first foul by Foster was a near clothesline to the top of
       Rose's head. It's not a basketball play.
