transition.

Does anybody know any tricks to get search engines like Google
to have this forum as the #1 hit when people search for
"Bleacher Bums Forum"? We could recapture the lost people that
way.

Caution
When clicking on the "new" button, you are taken to the bottom
of the screen rather than positioned at the first unread post.
You have to scroll up, find where you left off, and continue
reading back down. Other wise you could be missing posts (if
there are enough to more than fill the initial screen).
If I'm wrong on this please let me know right away.

I think you're wrong about that. Every time I click on "new",
it works like Worldcrossing did.
I think it'll take you the bottom of the screen if you're at the
10 or 25 post limit for that particular page, but that's the
only time I notice it. You'll see the new posts anyway in that
instance because new posts should show up at the bottom of the
screen.

You are right, it works like WorldCrossing. Let's do some
deletions.

Testing the quote and replying... yes, Tuffy, the more links
that point to this location and the more repetitious use will
help bring it up, but Google and other search engines are pretty
savvy about search optimisers trying to manipulate the top
spots, and they simply interpret some of it as spam and ignore,
so it's a matter of being patient.
