Just reposting what Cactus suggested in Today's Game to make
this place more like Worldcrossing. This was a big help for me.
<i>go to profile at the top of the page
click modify profile, then look & layout
check the box next to 'return to topics after posting by
default'
change 'use quick reply on topic display' to 'show - on by
default'

One other thing you can do at "Look and Layout" under your
profile is set the number of messages you can see per page. One
of the things I haven't liked about the other BBF alternatives
is that it'll show 20-25 messages per page when a new post
hasn't been made, and you have to scroll through all of them to
see the most recent message.
Over here, you can set it to where you can only see 5 or 10
messages per page, which works a lot more like Worldcrossing
did. You don't have to scroll through nearly as much to get to
the most recent messages if you don't want to do that.

1. Go to Profile on the top of the page.
2. On the left hand side under "Modify Profile", click on
"Forum Profile".
