Since we have never heard him try it, we don't know whether he
could, but more importantly we know he is bright enough not to
try.

Pat Hughes interviewed Bob Costas the other day on the radio
broadcast - it was amazing how these guys can recall historic
events and vividly describe them like it was happening real time

This is kind of funny...after they were traded for each other
last week, Ernesto Frieri and Jason Grilli ran into each other
in an bathroom during a layover at O'Hare:

Burnett seems to want to go back to Pittsburgh..."Burnett joined
the Phillies in February in part because he said he believed
they had a chance to win a World Series. But following Tuesday's
5-4 loss to the Marlins in 11 innings at Marlins Park, the
Phillies are only closer to the July 31 Trade Deadline," Zolecki
writes.
Really? AJ looked at the Phillies roster and thought they had a
better chance to to to the World Series than the Pirates?
Really? Moran.

Kershaw throws 8 scoreless tonight, up to 36 consecutive
