Cubs password is real complicated: think Wrigley. Password is
       "gum"

       No kidding. It works.
Looks like Hoyer has been trying to deal away the outfield:
       1.
countered with Danish. Asked if we could get back five apple but
MM will only go three cheese. Said talking to other clubs and
will get back to them later.
       2.
him. Gave link to BR. Will check out and get back to us.
       3.
another guy. KCR said Zimmer died few days ago but they would
see what they can do. Said not that Zimmer. Phone went dead.
       Will call Verizon.
       4.
They offered Yaz and insisted that still better than Coghlin.
Agreed but will take mucho to get him in shape. Offered to
throw in Barney. Bos asked for Soler instead. Said will take
mucho to get Soler in shape. Looks like impasse.
       5.
Sanchez. NYY countered to take back remainder of Soriano dough.
Told NYY will take Brooklyn Bridge if no Sanchez. Will
       consider.
       6. June 24, 2014. Offered Lake to Phil. Said it will them
younger. Phil says younger is nice but don't want Lake. Phil
says Keith Law hates Lake. We said Law likes Kalish. Phil says
in that case will offer the five Danishes and throw in another
cheese. Think we have a deal here.

I think the thing I'm most shocked by on the Astros leak is how
little trade discussion there actually is (if that leak is
totally extensive of their trade talks that is). Only 60
       entries over 10 months?
It doesn't seem like they talked to a whole lot of teams either.
As a fan, I almost always pictured a team talking several trades
several times a day and that they'd be throwing ideas out to all
       29 other teams fairly regularly.
Of course, I'm also disappointed there was nothing about the
Cubs in there. It'd be interesting to find out what kind of
back and forth goes on when Theo and company are discussing
trade (Aside from Reb's behind the scenes "insider" info of
course.) Granted, I guess since the Cubs and Astros are in the
same rebuilding boat, there really isn't much for them to
       discuss with one another.

They had to have something on Torryers that we sold them, maybe
       it just didn't make deadspin.

That's probably just one one guy's notes off his cell
phone/iPad/laptop or whatever got hacked. Might just be a file
or two that they were able to grab in the limited access they
had before they were discovered or shut down.

Rosenthal is speculating that Aiken might have flunked his

Didn't Joel Pineiro try to make a comeback with the Cubs earlier
this season? He picked up a 50 game suspension for a banned
       stimulant today.

       That would be interesting.
If he really flunked it, you'd almost have to figure the Astros
would rather have the #2 overall pick next season instead of
       signing him.

Until MLB starts finding out why pitchers get hurt so often, I'm
not sure how you can justify a high draft pick on a pitcher.
The risks are just so high.
