       The percentage of Asian players has gone from close to zero to
       maybe 4-5%.
       Also, why is baseball being graded on "gender diversity"?  As if
       it's somehow better the more women there are working in
       baseball?  How many girls devote themselves to playing and
       understanding baseball like boys do, dedicating themselves to
       the game from a very young age?  Very few.  It's perfectly
       natural that when they reach adulthood, the vast majority of the
       people working in baseball should be men.

       Regarding Braun's deal, that in no way precludes a Fielder deal.
       All things considered, it's a relative bargain of a contract.
