The Royals might even provide some competition for the Cards
instead of being the usual automatic six wins.

Since the talk of Albert becoming a Cub, his home run total has
went in the crapper. 94 at bat with out a homer.

       That's all it takes.
Hey, JB, did you hear? Holliday, Berkman, Carpenter, Jaime,
Rasmus, and Lohse are all coming to the Cubs, too.

It might be true of Carpenter since he has been horrible so far.
His only win is against us.
Holliday and Berkman are both injured....hmmmmmm...

Now this might set up an interesting issue for the future. I
didn't know Bartolo Colon had some sort of operation that
involved the use of stem cells to regenerate tissue in his
shoulder and elbow, and one of the doctors who performed the
operation is now saying 10 pitchers have contacted him
       expressing interest in the operation.

So now the next big controversy might be performance enhancing
surgery? Maybe every sore armed pitcher in baseball will now be
having Bartolo Colon Surgery to get their careers back on track?
I'd definitely be interested in reading a more in depth story
       about this.

Here's a story with a little more detail about it. This really
might turn out to be a big deal if Colon is able to keep up what
he's done so far this year.

(On a side note, it's kind of sad to see he's only making
$900,000 this year, when I think Doug Davis will be making $1.5
million if he stays on the team all year.)

Lance Armstrong is probably familiar with the treatment.
Davis can reach $2 mil with incentives.
