I don't think that the Mets are looking to trade David Wright.
I think just about everyone else on that team except maybe Ike
Davis and Wright will be sent packing.

Sad to hear Killebrew has died. I saw him as kid with my Dad at
ol' Cominski..er...Comiskey park hit a booming HR that tore out
a section of bleachers, then shot over the parking lot before
landing in Lake Michigan... epic

My dad's all time favorite player. I was able to shake his hand
at a meet and greet he did with fans at the old metrodome. Very
nice guy who had time for everybody that day.

On Monday, Brennaman called Carpenter a "whiner and
excuse-maker" on the air. He also referred to Duncan as
"infantile." Duncan was among those on the Cardinals bench
yelling at Cordero during the game.
Brennaman said that the Cardinals "might be the most disliked
team in baseball."
Before the Cardinals' game Tuesday in St. Louis, manager Tony La
Russa noted that Brennaman is in the broadcasters' wing of
baseball's Hall of Fame.
"He earned the right to get into the Hall of Fame," La Russa
said. "And now he ought to keep earning that respect instead of
abusing it."

Diamondbacks designated RHP Armando Galarraga for assignment.
The D'Backs stuck with him about as long as they could, but they
decided to cut the cord after another poor outing Monday.
Galarraga posted a 5.91 ERA and 1.62 WHIP in eight starts. With
a $2.3 million price tag, it's unlikely anyone will claim him
off waivers, so it's possible he could wind up staying in the
organization at Triple-A. Arizona hasn't decided who will fill
Galarraga's spot in the rotation Saturday.

Casey Coleman has a 7.22 ERA, and James Russell had a 10.05 ERA
during his time in the rotation. Meanwhile teams are getting
rid of guys who have pitched quite a bit better and apparently
have more attractive options on hand than this.
