Milton Bradley has been DFA'd by the Mariners. You'd think that
would be the end of the line for him.

So I guess it's now fair to say the Bradley for Silva deal was
one of those trades that made both teams worse.

The Twins are desperate for some offense but they are the last
team that would give him another shot.
Watch the players union go to bat for Milton when nobody offers
him a job.

From a Mariners.com article on Milton Bradley
Bradley had 10 home runs and 42 RBIs in 345 at-bats over two
seasons in Seattle after being acquired by trade with the Cubs
for pitcher Carlos Silva. Bradley is still owed the remainder of
a $12 million contract for this season.

We've seen a lot of posts around here so far this season about
how well Hak-Ju Lee and Brandon Guyer are performing. Here's
the other side of that trade:
Robinson Chirinos: .177/.253/.190 in AAA.
Chris Archer: 0-1, 5.93 ERA in AA. 27 1/3 IP, .327 BAA, 25 K:16
BB. 1.90 WHIP.
And even with his scorching start, Sam Fuld's overall major
league line looks like the 5th/AAAA outfielder everyone thought
he was: .248/.307/.376.

Fuld is Fuld - no one here shed any tears when he was dealt.
Chirinos was at best the 4th-most valuable prospect in the deal.
Archer is the one who really matters from your list - if he
doesn't turn it around that lessens the blow somewhat - but it's
a bit early to write him off. But I suspect two or three years
down the line no one here would be willing to trade Lee for
Garza straight-up, given the choice.
