       Thanks, Reb.
I'd assume the spotlight will increase as he moves up levels. He
       looks scary good.

The Cubs have a weak lineup?
Minnesota has four starters with an average under .200 against
the White Sox tonight. The hugely disappointing Twins GM, Bill
Smith, is not very popular in the Twin Cities. Joe Mauer or no
Joe Mauer, they are a bad ball club this year.

Twins are missing Morneau too, I believe.
       That's a lot of firepower.

Justin Morneau has been back for several weeks.
The two catchers on the active roster (Drew Butera and Steve
Holm) are hitting .224 That is .108 and .118 added together.

Twins lefty Francisco Liriano has a no-hitter through six
against the White Sox. He's thrown 85 pitches.

Heh, I read earlier today that Liriano's rotation spot might be
at risk tonight. I guess it won't be anymore.

       White Sox seventh
Adam Dunn - first base unassisted
Paul Konerko - pop to shortstop back in left field
Carlos Quentin - out third to first on a great play by Danny
       Valencia

A seven pitch seventh gives Liriano a decent chance.

Twins color man, Bert Blyleven, is not at tonight's game. He's
in Cooperstown for an orientation session. Filling in for him
is Ron Coomer. The Twins insist on referring to Coomer as a
       former All-Star.
