Don't worry mr smurf. Think they mean me. Which I can understand
viewpoint. My philosophy is I'm looking for bpa. When made tico
trade, had all top 5 round picks beside untradeable one. Just
seemed to me, the difference between a 2 and 1 was great enough
to wait a year. With zunino, think buff offered fifth if
included archer and lower without. Or third next year. Seemed no
brainer. And with Adams, I figure papa would have given up his
fourth but liked Adams too much for that. Ended up on second
next year and got to keep archer. To me anyway, the increased
quality of player is worth waiting a year sometimes. I think
biggest problem with it is if a owner did leave, being unfair to
next owner and that I understand. You have to do what's best for
the league as a whole.

Please stop pointing fingers. I wasn't singling out anyone.
Smurf, I addressed that to you, because you made the last
comment regarding "what's wrong with trading future picks?" so I
told you. And my comment regarding tanking was addressed solely
to trading this year's picks for next year's. What does that
say to the rest of the owners?
I think it sends a bad message.
I have NO problems with trading 2015 picks after the draft is
over, but trading them before the draft is questionable.
BTW, I can understand trading next year's picks to move UP this
year, but even that is not great.

What that says to this years owners... is that i have way too
many high picks for the draft this year...
What is wrong with maximizing talent? or do you think i should
reach for a guy in the 3rd that should go in the 9th due to
roster composition?
