Baez catches a fly ball in short CF and immediately looks at the
runner at 3B...wonder if Castro was watching that?

Baez crushed a line drive right at Stewart.

Alcantara is fast. Almora is not.

LOL, Kris Bryant just had a fantastic AB, fouling off several
3-2 pitches before hitting a bomb over the CF wall.
2-run shot, as Almora had doubled into the LF corner previously.

Were those the first major league spring training ABs for Almora
and Bryant? If so, you might say they announced their presence
       with authority.

Gordon Wittenmyer with his most positive comment on the Cubs in
       at least a year:

Note on that last inning, re: Almora, Bryant, BJax, Baez. Three
who got pitch to drive did; one who didn't (BJax) walked.

McDonald has given up a homer and loaded the bases without
getting an out in the 4th so far. The trainer just came out,
but he's staying in the game. Villanueva hasn't even pitched
yet, but he's the very early favorite to be the 5th starter if
       Arrieta isn't ready to go.
Grand slam Trout, 9-1 Angels. Ugly pitching today.

Don't count Wada out. He's at least modestly intriguing.
