Mel Tucker with high intellect?
Yeah it takes a genius to have all 11 of our players on the
field standing around while a guy runs in a fumble for a TD.
This was the dumbest defense I have seen on the field in a long
time. Game in and game out.

He's the smartest dumb guy he's met, lol....no, really, we need
some heads rolling.....SOMEONE needs to be accountable for this
nightmare of a mess on D....

The 7 year deal obviously allows them to space the guaranteed
portion of the contract over that time period for cap space.....
If its 18x3 Guaranteed (54 million) that works out to about 7.8
million per year but it will be more because of incentives and
bonus escalators as well as what the other 4 back years look
like. As a base, that's not too bad for a QB starved league....

I have no clue how smart or dumb Tucker is, but I do know that
however smart he is, it has nothing to do with the stupidity of
the players on the field.

The Cutler deal averages $18m the first 3years is what's being
reported. It could escalate to help the cap the next year or
two....just don't know yet...

Do you really want your GM and Head Coach to come out and say
that somebody sucks, is stupid, and is basically a waste? That
sure would make any FA's and coach prospects start beating down
the doors to Halas Hall trying to get in wouldn't it?

That play was so absurd from so many points. Even the Packers
were standing around and it took their sideline screaming at
them to get the ball. Even Briggs with all his years of
experience was casually strolling around nearby. With a play
that questionable and close, someone should have woke up bells
gone off whatever that maybe they should secure that
ball......mass stupidity all around and zero excuses for players
with experience......
