Not a day the players didn't give it their best?
How about 2 weeks ago in Philly for starters?

LOT'S of hot air and no significant staff
improvements......that's what I'm hearing. Same staff that
brought us this mess on D will be here next year.....

Emery and Trestman seem kinda fixated on the last game. I think
they should be a lot more concerned about what happened 2 weeks
ago (in Philly) because that's the game that forced us into a
must-win Packers game and set the tone for it. If we had won
that game, the Packers game wouldn't have mattered.

Well good news on Jennings and Slausen at least, two guys I
wanted back. Cutler at 7 years.....lets see the terms/numbers
       first.

All Trestman is talking about the offense.
We get it Marc, your O works and Cutler and McCown have done
well in it. Our offense isn't why we finished 8-8 though.

So now he's saying that if all the Lovie holdovers hadn't gotten
hurt, our D would have been good this season.
       OK, whatever.
