SEVEN F*cking Years?!
I wanted Cutler back but damn... he won't even be walking by
then.
Good news on Jennings and Slauson.

I suspect the extreme length of the Cutler deal is to make
things more cap friendly these next 2-3 years.
Jennings now becomes the de facto leader of the Bears
D-backfield as I am certain Peanut is gone now.

Why can't we sign Tillman and place him at Free Safety? I know
he has to want to, but I think he would instantly upgrade us
there. It is not like our safeties were tackling anyone
before...

Tillnut is gone, without a doubt. He'll cost too much for what
he's worth age-wise. He'll go to Lovie's Bucs, possibly with
Hester and a few others. Which is fine because most of those
players underperformed this season, including Peppers. Hopefully
he'll be gone....

The Cutler deal makes me wonder if we're keeping Peppers.
7 yrs is probably the only way we could pay him and Peppers at
the same time.
Curious to see if Trestman is gonna talk today.

They are paying Revis about $16 million. How much do you invest
in the defense, I think we can pay him more than Tampa, unless
they release Revis

Revis is a man cover corner. Unless Tucker (or whomever) plans
to move to that kind of D, Revis would be a waste.

I am not saying to go after Revis, I question whether Tampa will
invest more money into that position and go after Tillman

No way I expected 3 player signings to be announced today. Good
work by the front office.
