I think he's about as classic a LIAB guy as you could draw up.
He's lost a few inches off his fastball but he still seems to
throw pretty hard, and he's not too old to get his mojo back.

I think this would be the perfect place for the ABTY, Tom Loxas,
Cubs Den, 3rd cousin removed of Theo's secretary, etc. internet
rumors out there.

Speaking of ABTY
Shark + Russell for multiple high end pieces not named Bradley.
No clue what those high end pieces are, but my feeling is the
Cubs would be giving up the established major leaguer with the
highest upside, so I'd rather not.
The Royals have floated Zimmer's name for Shark, but wouldn't be
willing to give up anything else of value above A ball. He
talked with a Royal's higher up and they thought they would set
the market for him, but "We are willing to pay for a fully
loaded F-150, but the price is more like a Lotus."

Josh Johnson is a LIAB guy, but I'm not sure he's going to have
a LIAB price. Healthy Josh Johnson is the best pitcher on the
free agent market...all he has to do is convince one team that
he's reasonably healthy, and that shoots the price way up.

Are there limitations on trading guys who accept a qualifying
offer? Would the Yankees be able to trade Granderson if he
accepts the QO and they don't really want him, or is it
considered like a free agent situation where the Yankees would
have to wait a couple months into the season to be able to trade
him?

Johnson on a 1 year deal would be worth it, even if you have to
pay a little more.
