That's a pretty solid comp.

Here's a take on Aaron Nola today from Christopher Crawford, the
other ESPN draft guy:
There are several arms in the 2014 class who draw varying levels
of opinions, but none more so on the collegiate side than LSU
right-hander Aaron Nola. Efforts like the one he made Friday
night however, could go a long way into converting those who
believe he can't be a starter at the next level.
Nola dominated Virginia Tech Friday night, giving up no hits in
seven innings of work, walking one and striking out nine. The
Tigers' ace isn't overpowering, but his low 90s fastball has
good life and he has excellent feel for pitching.
"The only reason he's not considered a lock to start is because
of that [low arm] slot," an NL East scout said. "You just don't
see a lot of starters work from that low, left- or right-handed.
It's not a question of his stuff, he could be a solid No. 4;
maybe a No. 3 based on his arsenal.
"It's just going to take one team to think he's a starter to see
him go early on day one. He's always shown he can throw strikes,
but if he can show the kind of command he did (Friday)? He's
certainly got a shot."
Near-ready college pitchers always go early, and
pitching-starved systems like the Milwaukee Brewers and Los
Angeles Angels could be good fits for Nola come June.

Trea Turner at #12 was a major surprise.

Hasn't Pentecost been in the top 100 almost every year since
junior in high school?
Impressive how many are offspring or siblings of major leaguers.

Turner at 12 is laughable - clearly personal bias at work. He
may be gone when the Cubs draft at 4.

Im not down to draft another SS with us already having
Castro,Baez,and Alcantara.
Everyone talks about how we dont have any big time pitching
prospects and this seems like the perfect opportunity to get
one.
One that will be close to major league ready would be
preferable.

But what if some organization has lots of #1 pitchers and no
shortstop?
