If the best player is a pitcher then get a pitcher. If they
think Sam will be good when they think the team will be good
don't trade if not get what u can.

The quality of stud service must be pretty low if Smardj is
going to get the "stud" description.

Here's a Top 100 MLB Draft list from February 2013:

I was surprised to see Kris Bryant ranked as high as #2 that
early. But note that the top two pitchers were Stanek and
Manaea, ahead of Appel (#8) and Gray (#11).

Turner was 1-3 w/ 2 RBI, a walk, and a steal yesterday.
NC State's first two games were snowed out so they've only
played twice.

NC State made up its PP'nd games. Turner went 4-9 w/ 2 RBI and 3
SB the past two days.
He's 8-16 with 5 steals. No K's or extra-base hits yet.

I'd love to see the Cubs take him, but it might be hard to see
three other teams pass on him.

So disappointed. Can't believe my boy Nola walked a guy.

Turner's one bit the 3b made a heck of a play to rob him of a
double down the line that he beat out. He had another high
bouncer to 3b that was ruled an error, but could have been a
hit. The home plate ump's strike zone was all over the place.
The game might still be on Watch ESPN if your interested.
Beede with only 2 walks so far, if he keeps this up he might
jump into the top 3 discussion.

If you want to comp Nola to somebody, I think Mike Leake would
be the best guy out there. He was the 8th pick in the 2009
draft. His fastball has averaged 88-90 in the majors. He spent
almost no time in the minors (7.1 IP). His x-FIP has been
3.68-4.16. His ERA's have been 3.34-4.58. He's a good pitcher
and will eat innings for you. He'll have a long career barring
injuries. He won't be at the top of the rotation for a playoff
team. He isn't what I would want at #4, but he's still a good
player.
