No. The state of Tennessee retired me.
       Not a permanent thing.

Obsessive draft follower Dan Kirby tweeted this today:
"Tyler Kolek with 13 K/0 BB last night. Now has 48 K/1 BB over
       22.1 IP, allowing 2 hits. #MLBDraft"
He's got to go top 2 or 3, right? I like the Cubs' having one of
those elite college arms to pick from.

Perhaps it will be worth the drive to see him next month....
About a 3 hour drive for me.
As I understand it, the problem with most of the elite college
arms is that they have not been performing up to expectations
this spring. Kolek certainly has been performing up to and
       beyond expectations.

I don't think it's a given the Cubs won't take a HS arm, if they
truly believe Kolek or Aiken is the clear best talent on the
board. There's a case to be made that taking control of a kid
straight out of HS gives you a better chance to prevent future
injury that having to trust what their college coach did for
       three years.

Absolutely Deeg. Though, the impatient fan I am loves the idea
of Rodon dropping to 4, reverting to form over his first year in
pro ball, and being in the conversation to come up to MLB in
       2016.

Aiken is really interesting, lefty with power stuff. Koleck is
just overpowering HS hitters with 100 mph fastball that they
can't catch up to. His command and secondaries are iffy.
