I saw that too. I love that he is involved so much at that
level.

I thought the LBs played well, especially Briggs. Whatever is
wrong with Peppers, needs to get fixed, and toot sweet.

I saw that too. I love that he is involved so much at that
level.
I saw something from one of the Bears players to the effect that
they sometime have to calm down Kyle Long in the huddle cause he
gets so jacked up being out there. Great to see.

You got to figure a veteran like Weems knew that rule.
Otherwise that looks like an extremely stupid play on the Bears'
part.
Yeah... all the Bears veterans were giving him high-5s on the
sideline and I was just thinking, what a stupid thing he had
done. Apparently it was a smart play on his part though and it
turned out in our favor.
There were a lot of weird things that happened in that game
yesterday but it seems like that's kind of par for the course
when we play the Vikings. Hopefully by Thanksgiving Weekend we
will have solved our remaining weak spots and can go up to the
Rollerdome and notch a much more convincing win in the rematch.

Peppers had the flu this week so may need to give him a pass.
Well next week we face a Steelers OL that is already being
patchworked due to injuries and was pretty bad to begin with.
By then Melton will be three weeks back into action, and
presumably Peppers will be back to full strength. No more
excuses for that game as far as I'm concerned.

I saw somewhere on that sack/strip of Cutler by Allen that Forte
had come over to chip Allen and he basically used Forte to pick
Bushrod off the block. I didn't see the game so I don't really
know.
Still, 1 sack in 2 games by this OL? Last year we were lucky to
not have a sack per quarter.

There may be no better get well o-line to feast on than Pitt so
I expect more production from Peppers and the boys next week.

Even though we didn't see it, Earl Bennett had a key catch late
in the first half that put the Bears into field goal range
(thanks to VJ for posting the drive that we never saw):
2-6-MIN 49 (:29) (Shotgun) 6-J.Cutler pass deep middle to
80-E.Bennett to MIN 33 for 16 yards (22-H.Smith).
Timeout #3 by CHI at 00:19.
Earl had another catch and actually had 1 more than Jeffery, who
just had one grab. Though he did gain some big yardage on that
nice end around.
And the announcers brought a key point that Cutler is now
dumping off to Forte. In the past Cutler didn't do this much as
he'd try to force it down field. When Forte has the ball in the
open field usually good things happen.

Cutler was scrambling toward the right sideline - your blockers
can only do so much for ya
