Fits you could move to a different time zone or use drugs to
alleviate the effects of lack of sleep ;)

Mike Tirico appears to be anchoring ESPN's U.S. Open golf
coverage instead of Chris Berman. Thank you very much.
First round play has been suspended due to severe weather.
There may be a window in a short time but more rain is on the
way.

Yeah - the stuff that blew through earlier is about 1/5th the
severity of what is coming in an hour or so

Kind of expected it to be a washout today the way things have

If there is any television worse than baseball rain delay
coverage, it's the golf equivalent.

As NBC ended their U.S. Open coverage at 4:00 P.M. Chicago time,
Phil Mickelson had just hit into a narrow little water hazard
and Johnny Miller said he had no stance. ESPN picked up the
telecast by showing some recorded highlights and then went to
Mickelson making a putt for a par. My TV is still in one piece
but I'm not sure why.

'Hawks 1-0 on goal by Patrick Sharp...the 'Hawks are dominating
the Bruins...19 to 4 SOG for the 'Hawks ... very impressive
