If it's a concussion, Toews is likely out the for any remaining
games.

Johnny Boychuk deserves a minimum two game suspension for his
hit on Toews as both feet leave the ice just before he delivers
a forearm shiver to the back of Toews' neck/head. Boychuk
intentionally headhunted a star player with a history of
concussions. But I suspect nothing will be handed down from the
NHL since their Executive Vice President and Director of Hockey
Operations (Colin Campbell) has a son who is on the Boston
Bruins (Gregory Campbell).

The only way that would be penalized is if CNN and ESPN kept
replaying it like above with commentary about how brutal and
unpenalized it was. All sports are becoming more concerned
about concussions and if the NHL was portrayed as being
insincere, somebody would do something. Lately, public opinion
has to be whipped up by the media before something is done.

The NHL decided against any penalty. I'm sure they'd claim the
initial point of contact was the shoulder.
