HELLO ALL!
Hope you are all fine. I am sending you some ideas. Tell me what
you think about it.
I am part of an artist-run space in Zürich and there is a slot
open from the 14th till the 18th of April, in which we could do
an exibiton.
I want to organise this exibition with all of you, if you want
to.
I am really inspired by the work we have done during BB and I
would like to think more about possibities of process oriented
work and how we could combine these within an exibition.
how is it possible to make an exibition without a piece, that is
already ready to be exhibited. thus, how can we mix what we
experienced and learned during the ten days of bb, with the
distance between us and the space and visitors in only one
location.
some thoughts:
- creating an exibition, in which everyone can participate with
a video, sound, image, or story
- creating something, which takes place at the same time in
different cities
- or working during one week on small stuff, kind of a chain
(this could also be done before) which we can present in the
space, something that grows during the exhibtion
- skype: there is a connection to some of you and the visitors
can talk to you as real/fictional characters about different
topics
- tasks: we could create tasks for eachother like the
assignments?
- happenings: there could be some happenings like dinner, party
etc. the visitors can be part of.
To summarize: it should not be a finished product that we show,
but something that happens in the moment and also challenges the
visitor. I think that every day of the exibition would be
different. one could somehow see the process.
if you want to participate, please let me know as soon as
possible, so we can start planning and thinking it through.
