Democracy is losing ground to dictatorships worldwide

HTML https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2020/06/12/putin-says-majority-back-plan-to-change-russian-constitution-a70559
President Vladimir Putin said Friday an "absolute
majority" of Russians back his controversial plan to change the
Constitution, as he made his first public appearance after weeks
of lockdown.
Russia, which has the world's third-largest coronavirus
caseload, this week lifted tight restrictions as Putin set the
stage for a vote on July 1 that could extend his hold on power
until 2036.
Putin plans on changing Russia's constitution to prevent term
limits from removing him from office.
Taiwan has fired missiles off its coastline as it boosts
the island’s defence against the increasingly aggressive China.
The test is understood to have taken place off the coast of the
easterly Taitung county and at the Jiupeng military base in the
southernmost county of Pinging on Thursday.
Taiwan is an island of the south-east coast of China which is
independent from the superpower.
Taiwan’s defence ministry said it was part of a four-day missile
test and other weapons would follow a similar drill in the
coming days.
But, it did not reveal what missiles were tested or whether
future tests would be carried out between Friday and Tuesday.
The developer of the missiles, National Chung-Shan Institute of
Science and Technology, also declined to name the missiles,
saying the test was in line with the defence ministry’s plan to
develop the island’s own weapons.
Taiwan, currently an autonomous region, is preparing for war
with the Chinese mainland. The CCP views Taiwan as part of it's
territory even though Taiwan has historically had it's own
government.
HTML https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Taiwan
Taiwan was officially regarded by the Kangxi Emperor as
"a ball of mud beyond the pale of civilization" and did not
appear on any map of the imperial domain until 1683. The act of
presenting a map to the emperor was equal to presenting the
lands of the empire. It took several more years before the Qing
court would recognize Taiwan as part of the Qing realm. Prior to
the Qing dynasty, China was conceived as a land bound by
mountains, rivers and seas. The idea of an island as a part of
China was unfathomable to the Han prior to the Qing frontier
expansion effort of the 17th century.
Despite the expense of the military and diplomatic campaign that
brought Taiwan into the imperial realm, the general sentiment in
Beijing was ambivalent. The point of the campaign had been to
destroy the Zheng-family regime, not to conquer the
island.[citation needed] The Kangxi Emperor expressed the
sentiment that Taiwan was "the size of a pellet; taking it is no
gain; not taking it is no loss". His ministers counseled that
the island was "a ball of mud beyond the sea, adding nothing to
the breadth of China", and advocated removing all the Chinese to
mainland China and abandoning the island. It was only the
campaigning of admiral Shi Lang and other supporters that
convinced the emperor not to abandon Taiwan.

As part of the settlement for losing the Sino-Japanese
War, the Qing empire ceded the islands of Taiwan and Penghu to
Japan on April 17, 1895, according to the terms of the Treaty of
Shimonoseki. The loss of Taiwan would become a rallying point
for the Chinese nationalist movement in the years that
followed.
It was only part of the Qin Empire from 1683 to 1895. The CCP
has certainly never had any claim over it.
However given it's proximity to China it would be very costly
for anyone else to become involved if China decides to invade
Taiwan. Especially so if the USA tried to become involved as
most of our military forces would have to cross the Pacific and
challenge a large country with a heavily-armed military that
vastly outnumbers us.
HTML https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/12/cdc-may-reimplement-strict-coronavirus-rules-if-cases-go-up-dramatically.html
States may need to reimplement the strict social distancing
measures that were put in place earlier this year if U.S.
coronavirus cases rise “dramatically,” a Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention official said Friday.
“Right now, communities are experiencing different levels of
transmission occurring, as they gradually ease up onto the
community mitigation efforts and gradually reopen,” the CDC’s
deputy director for infectious diseases, Jay Butler, told
reporters during a press briefing.
“If cases begin to go up again, particularly if they go up
dramatically, it’s important to recognize that more mitigation
efforts such as what were implemented back in March may be
needed again,” Butler said.
The CDC is considering re-imposing lockdown measures if the
virus infects more people.
Funny how that in the supposed "land of the free" we are all
being held captive inside our homes.
So Russia is about to become a Republic in name only, the
country of Taiwan is about to be invaded by a communist regime,
and western civilization is oppressing it's own citizens. If you
ask me we are seeing a worldwide loss of freedom the likes of
which has never been seen before.
Do you think a stage is being set for something? Maybe WW3? Mark
of the beast? One world government? Share your thoughts.

Kim Yo Jong, the sister of Kim Jong Un, the dictator of North
Korea recently made this charming announcement:
HTML https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1293966/North-korea-latest-kim-jong-un-kim-yo-jung-latest
Kim Yo Jung has moved to the forefront since her
brother’s mysterious disappearance last month. And now she has
unleashed a brutal attack on neighbours South Korea, just after
the rogue state severed contact with Seoul. Kim Yo-jong's
statement said: “On May 31, I heard a report that so-called
‘defectors from the North’ scattered hundreds of thousands of
anti-DPRK leaflets into the areas of our side from the frontline
areas.
“What matters is that those human scum hardly worth their value
as human beings had the temerity of faulting our supreme
leadership and citing ‘nuclear issue’.
“I wonder if the world knows what kind of riff-raffs those
foolish ‘defectors from the North’ are. It is the height of
irony. Those fools who are almost illiterate wanted to talk
about ‘nuclear issue’ though they know no concept about it.
“This is like a ‘shop-boy near a temple chanting a sutra
untaught’. Human scum little short of wild animals who betrayed
their own homeland are engrossed in such unbecoming acts to
imitate men.
“They are sure to be called mongrel dogs are doing others harm,
it is time to bring their owner to account. I would like to ask
South Korean authorities if they are ready to take care of the
consequences of evil conduct done by the rubbish-like mongrel
dogs who took no scruple to slander us while faulting the
‘nuclear issue’ in the meanest way at the most untimely time.”
The latest comments, and the change in tact from the rogue state
will fuel conspiracy theories Kim Jong-un’s reappearance was in
fact a double.
I think we can safely assume there won't be peace on the Korean
Peninsula any time soon.
If there is war then Seoul will be quickly overwhelmed. It is
one of the most populous cities in the world with millions of
people and the North Korean military has thousands of artillery
pieces pointed at it. It's not a good setup.

Indeed and if we don't put a stop to this we will soon be in
extermination camps for non compliance!
Be part of the resistance and not part of the 4th Reich!

The danger of the US falling to a coup is ever present. We have
a fight between the deep state and Trump. If the deep state wins
we are in for trouble. I'm no fan of Trump but the globalist
totalitarians are with the deep state. None of us is far enough
away to escape the consequences if the deep state wins.
