Rent a tiller from home depot and you can fix that in no time.

I've got a rusted shovel, and old man back. Well little digging
fellas too. No can do, pool side garden. Small space.
Looks gorgeous though once it starts growing. Solar lights in
between.
A "festive" or gay perhaps garden. But it will be pretty!

Nothing gay about having pride in a maintained garden. I'm a
gardener myself so I can appreciate it. But yeah. Sounds like
some work if you have to do it by hand. It's beer-o-clock here.
Not doing much else with my day.

And how does your garden grow...
:daydream:
I need to plant my little herb garden for the summer...
No one has the herb plants

Not well since I'm restricted to potted plants. Usually flowers
for a touch of color and peppers because they are very tolerant
of the direction I'm facing. I have a few variety of heirloom
tomato also.

Hey one of those long soil trays, and just plop a bunch of
preferred herbs next to one another.
Mine is on my side stoop.
I do them alphabetically so I know who is who.
Basil, wild chives, which I actually dig out of the ground here,
oregano, rosemary, sage, spearmint.
Sometimes add lemon mint and Italian parsley. Cilantro doesn't
seem to fare well.
I grow them all spring and summer long outside. I break off what
I need to cook with.
Nice fresh herbs. Organic
When the cold sets in I break them all down one by one, and dry
them out, put them in individual jars, and use that all winter.
:yeah:

I've grown cilantro and basil.
Tell you the truth the tube basil is pretty dang close, and the
cilantro a waste of space.
If you want to go that route, green onions for reward + space.
Those are keen too when it comes to a cream cheese + heavy
coarse black pepper base for multiple cooks.
