I adore this breed.
The Peruvian Inca Orchid
I almost adopted one a couple of years back. I was talked out of
off it on another forum.
Kinda sorry I listened.
They are the National dog of Peru, and yet they are abused and
treated badly there.
That end up in shelters with injuries looking gnarled.
Not like these perfect images.
That's the kind of dog I wanted to adopt. An abused street dog.
I still might.

Yes, they are hairless. They are the equivalent of a sphynx cat.

This is the girl I almost adopted.
She ended up going to a Chicago no kill rescue.
I lost track of her after that.
She looked like a sweetheart to me.
