SCHUMER SAYS HE ‘LITERALLY CRIED TEARS OF JOY WHEN HE HEARD THE
       DACA DECISION"
The Supreme Court ruled today that the Trump administration
cannot carry out its plan to shut down the Deferred Action for
Childhood Arrivals program or DACA, which allows nearly 800,000
illegal immigrants to avoid deportation and remain in the U.S.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said of the news, “I
literally cried tears of joy when I heard the DACA decision.” He
then referred to them as “the wonderful young Dreamers” and said
that them and their families “have a huge burden lifted off
their shoulders.” He believes that “one day they will become
       American citizens.”
(nice photo op with immigrant kid that probably came here
       legally. )

       From The Hill:
Schumer appeared visibly emotional and teared up as he spoke
about the Supreme Court’s decision to block the Trump
administration from ending an Obama-era program that shields
nearly 700,000 young undocumented immigrants from deportation.
“Wow. What a decision. And let me say this. In this very
difficult time, the Supreme Court provided a bright ray of
sunshine this week. With the decision on Monday preventing
discrimination in employment against the LGBTQ community, and
now with this DACA decision,” Schumer said, referring to a
ruling that workers can’t be fired for being gay or transgender.
