Reminder: No politics

This is a reminder that at the very beginning, it was decided
that we would refrain from political discussion.
While it comes up tangentially from time to time, please refrain
from starting threads centering on actual politicians and their
behavior.
I have deleted a thread about this very thing. No one is
banned, no one is moderated. Just be aware that if you post
something like that it will likely be deleted.
It's not that folks were being nasty with one another. It's not
that folks cannot be trusted to handle political issues politely
with one another.
It's simply that this is one of the few places that is going to
remain free of political discussion.

Bless you, Lady B! I belong to several Facebook groups that are
supposed to be about science or something literary and there are
people who just can't help but poison them with political &/or
religious (or anti religious) proselytising, totally
degenerating threads and even entire pages from intelligent
discussion to childish name calling. It's nice to have a 'safe
zone' where's that isn't acceptable. Have a wonderful remainder
of the Holiday Season!
