Ariel update: She's EVEN MORE Free!

Decided to put this here, rather than in the hugs thread,
because it's an entirely GOOD update! She got her cone taken
off! For the first time in 2 months, she DOESN'T have a cone on
her head! She is clearly far more comfortable, and can see where
she's going (even with only one functional eye) far better. That
means that her harness could come off, too. Which means that all
of the little places where stuff has been rubbing can heal.

Ariel had her leg bandage removed from where her toe had to be
amputated! This is the first time in 3 months where she does NOT
have a bandage on. At the peak, she had 3 legs bandaged and a
cone, now they're all gone! AND she doesn't have to go back to
the vet for 2 whole weeks! (The Director of Medicine for the Vet
School stopped by to take a look at her, since he'd heard so
much about her...). Yay for my little miracle dog! Don't get me
wrong, she's still on 7 different medications by mouth, and 3
different kinds of eyedrops, but we're seeing definite
improvement.
