Maybe it was sent because someone in your family thought you
might like seeing the collage of baby pictures so that you would
at least know what this new little human looked like? Not
because they actually wanted you to attend the shower.

They say, when cutting off dysfunctional family, to become a

Yes, I think the invitation itself made the decision for you. I
think that you can wash your hands of this and know that you did
everything that you could. Should it ever be brought to your
attention, I would just honestly say that I had no clue how to
RSVP and leave it at that.

It says to RSVP but you have no way to contact them? Very weird.
Well since you can't contact them to tell them you're not coming
I say just don't go to the birthday party and let the chips fall
where they may.
