I went into Hobby Lobby to get a fabric that I know I already
bought, but can not find. I walked out with a ton of fabric,
because they had put a huge amount of fabric into a clearance
sale. So, all of my staying out of fabric stores was blown in
one sale. However, it was blown on $3.00 and $2.00 a yard, not
$6.00 and $7.00 a yard. Already have it in the washing machine.
Need to get back to sewing every night.

Woo hoo! Lucky you! We don't have any fabric stores like that up
here. We sure do get dinged on price, what with transportation
costs, and duties, and exchange rates. That's why, although I
very much like to support local business, if there's a whopping
good deal from an American store like Connecting Threads, I
definitely look after my pocketbook first.

Well, you have to take care of your pocketbook. Being
financially sound is part of the requirement of being a
responsible adult. (And my fabric buying is why I have no
intentions of retiring any time soon!)
