Sure! I don't know where you are located in but I'm wanting to
do this for Strong Foundation Ministries San Antonio Texas. I
saw wanting to because they haven't responded to my email yet.
I also know of one in Florida. I can't remember the name of
hand but I can get it for you.

For those of you with the problem of losing the gift, I suggest
a box in the closet that is the dedicated storage spot. For
small items, I use a drawer in my dresser. I no longer lose the
items. (Can you tell that I have spent a few days before the
gift giving occasion trying to find the gift?)

It really doesn’t matter to us because we normally give
consumable gifts and cash for the holidays. Sometimes, we add a
little something extra.
We don’t make a concerted effort to find the perfect gift for
someone but, if we stumble upon something, we’ll buy it.
We do buy local Christmas ornaments when we find them on our
vacations.

How timely!
I have started. I am doing a project for a foundation that
helps fostered teenage girls that have aged out of the system.
I am collecting used/new purses and will be stuffing them with
toiletries, socks, little mirrors, maybe some makeup, lip balm.
Any other ideas?

What a wonderful project!
You could put in some hand lotion, hand sanitizer. Depending on
how many you're doing, and budget, $5/10 gift cards for
McDonald's or Dunkin' Donuts or similar places. I'm in Canada so
our go-to would be a Timmies (Tim Horton' s) card.

I don't go out shopping ahead of time, but if I'm out and about
(or on vacation!) and see something, I'll buy it. I've got
three boxes in the garage that I used to store presents until
it's time to wrap them. It makes December much pleasanter!

So, partly for my birthday & partly just because, we're in
Malta. Being ex-Pat Americans, my husband and I love giving
local European presents from our travels as well as from our
home in Germany that our friends and family hopefully
appreciate. With some of my husband's travel, we are also
blessed to give cool girfts from various parts of Africa. I've
bought gifts for about 65% of our family, including the hard to
buy for folks! I found cookbooks, lots of hand filagreed silver
jewelry (so neat to watch), beautiful glass, and uncirculated
coins. I LOVE doing my shopping throughout the year. This year
will be our last in Germany, so we plan to have a ball at
German, Frenvh & possibly Italian Christmas Markets. My general
goal is that Christmas shopping is done & mostly wrapped before
American Thanksgiving.

I started buying as I went along since I was 12 and found the
perfect gift for my best friend when we were traveling. :) That
was in 1957. The habit stayed with me. Sadly, that doesn’t
completely relieve the last minute panic. >:(

I make totes for Christmas presents, and work on those all year
long. I also buy books at the local library book sale for the
youngsters I give gifts to, and they all love them. What was
really nice this past Christmas was that I had sent some books
to my grand-nephew, a little boy of 3. My nephew posted a
picture on Facebook of him reading one of the books I'd sent to
his little boy.

I buy stuff all year long, keep it in the "present tote" in the
basement, and also keep track in a note on my phone. That way
it's not a huge expense in December either.

If I buy stuff in advance, I still run out and get stuff during
the "fizzy" traditional time of Christmas shopping.
So I stopped in order to save money. :D
